Civilization Causes
Air
pollution is one of the biggest factors causing the need for an island civilization.
Air pollution is destroying the ozone, killing tress, and making our planet
disgusting.
Humans
are creating more and more air pollution as time goes on because population is
increasing causing the need for more energy. Most people connect air pollution
with transportation, however, using electricity and cutting done vegetation is
also increasing air pollution. Fossil fuels are burned to create the power used
in watching TV or using other products that use electricity. So although hybrid
and electric cars are starting to become more popular on the market, they will
still create air pollution, just not directly or as much. Destroying the
vegetation reduces the amount of carbon dioxide naturally being absorbed from
the atmosphere. These are both harmful factors that people do not consider.
We
can solve this simply by investing in renewable energy. It will eventually
become more affordable to use; the question is, will it be too late by then.
Renewable energy is indispensable and is a one-time payment along with some maintenance
now and then. Oil reserves will be exhausted eventually, so investing in renewable
energy now is the answer.
